Lorien Shannon is a Naarm/Melbourne-based photographer and stylist working in fine art, portraiture and long-form photo documentary. Her practice investigates the human condition through psychology, sociology, and the belief systems that shape everyday lives, including the cultures around conspiracy theories. As an artist with ADHD, she follows threads of pattern and connection to find unguarded moments. She works across traditional photography and experimental interventions such as burning, washing, scratching, and layering to turn images into textured, lived objects
